Rockville, Maryland, December 14, 2023—MELE Associates, Inc. (MELE), a veteran-owned (VOSB), minority-owned small business with more than three decades of success in the government contracting space, announced today that it was awarded two new contracts.
MELE, which has its corporate headquarters in Rockville, Maryland and has offices in Washington, DC, and New Mexico, was awarded the contracts by the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE), National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). The contracts fall within the Enterprise Wide Technical, Engineering and Programmatic Support Services (TEPS) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). The Period of Performance (POP) for each contract is one year plus four, one-year options.

The new contracts include a Nuclear Emergency Support Team (NEST) award (NA-80), the scope of which includes programmatic, technical, operational support, incident management team support, and reserve corps support. In addition, the DOE partnered with MELE on an Office of Counterterrorism and Counterproliferation (CTCP) award (NA-80).
MELE did not disclose the obligated amount or total potential contract value of the awards.
