Meet Franz F. who is part of MELE’s Albuquerque, New Mexico team. Franz works primarily within MELE’s partnership with the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). He was born in Olongapo City in the Philippines and grew up in Poway, California. Prior to joining MELE he served in the U.S. Army, reaching the rank of Sergeant First Class.
He first joined MELE as a Department of Defense (DoD) Skillbridge Program intern. The Skillbridge Program helps active-duty military transition to civilian life and to find private sector careers. MELE hired Franz after he completed his internship and he subsequently relocated from the Mid-Atlantic to New Mexico to start his new career.
“I enjoy working at MELE because the company provides numerous training opportunities each year and the company has a unique mission that allows me to collaborate with personnel who have diverse backgrounds and skillsets,” Franz shared. He also said that he enjoys the New Mexico lifestyle, especially the great weather and the local cuisine.
In his free time, Franz enjoys playing basketball with his son, working out, and boating with his family on New Mexico’s many beautiful lakes.
