MELE Awarded NNSA Defense Nuclear Security Recompete Contract

Rockville, Maryland, September 25, 2024—MELE Associates, Inc. (MELE), a veteran and minority-owned government contractor with more than three decades of success serving U.S. federal, state, and local agencies and international organizations, announced today that it was awarded a new recompete contract by the Department of Energy (DOE) National Nuclear Security Administration’s (NNSA) Defense Nuclear Security (DNS/NA-70) Office.

MELE and the MELEMAX Team provide safeguards and security management and consulting services and risk management capabilities that support DNS/NA-70 in the execution of their mission to protect NNSA personnel, facilities, nuclear weapons, and materials from a full spectrum of threats.
