Mr. Okinaga is a graduate of Georgetown University’s Law Center and has more than 45 years of experience in corporate law. He specializes in financial services, corporate, real estate, administrative, and trust law. Mr. Okinaga is currently a partner at the law firm Carlsmith Ball’s Honolulu, Hawaii office. He was selected by his attorney peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America for Banking and Finance Law (listed since 2005), for Financial Services Regulation Law, and for Litigation, and he has been recognized as Lawyer of the Year in the past. Mr. Okinaga is a John Carroll Award Honoree and a Justice Awardee from the American Judicature Society. He is also the former President and the current Chairman of the American Judiciary Society. Mr. Okinaga also served in the U.S. Air Force Reserve and retired with the rank of Captain.
