MELE Associates, Inc. Awarded the Administrative Support Services Contract for DOE/NNSA’s Office of Defense Nuclear Nonproliferation (NA-20), under Prime Contractor Harkcon, Inc.

MELE Associates, Inc. is proud to announce the recent award of the 2020-2025 Administrative Support Services Contract for the Department of Energy’s (DOE), National Nuclear Security Administration’s (NNSA) Office of Defense Nuclear Nonproliferation (NA-20), under Prime awardee, Harkcon, Inc. NNSA’s Office of Defense Nuclear Nonproliferation prevents state and non-state actors from developing nuclear weapons or acquiring weapons-usable nuclear or radiological materials, equipment, technology, or expertise. Alongside Prime Contractor Harkcon, MELE will be providing administrative support services, including reducing and protecting vulnerable nuclear and radiological material, conducting research, developing, testing, and evaluating science and technology for strengthening the U.S. response to national security threats, and more. MELE is proud to partner with Harkcon to support DOE/NNSA’s NA-20 office with management, as well as organizational and administrative support services within the Office of Defense Nuclear Nonproliferation (DNN), with key functions including:

• Program Management Support
• Coordinate and process foreign/domestic travel
• Maintain NNSA FTMS and Policies
• Process, track, handled controlled and unclassified correspondence/documents
• Visitors Access
• Provide Records Management and Archival Support
• Operate Program Office Mail and Correspondence Center

The contract will begin in September 2020 and will continue through the 2025 fiscal year.
