Meet David E., a Security Analyst who supports MELE’s NNSA contract. He works alongside his MELE colleagues to secure the nuclear security enterprise. David has been part of the MELE family for about 2.5 years. He worked for the Department of Energy’s Office of Classification for a decade prior to joining MELE.
David feels that the best part of his job is having colleagues he respects and enjoys being around every day. He also appreciates working for MELE.
“I appreciate that MELE has a pro-family culture, something which is by no means guaranteed these days. The fact that it started as a family business may have something to do with that!” shared David.
“I also enjoy working in Maryland because I’m close to my family, friends, and the state’s phenomenal cultural and historical venues,” he added.

David grew up in Fairfax, Virginia and currently lives in Baltimore. In his free time, he enjoys creative writing. He also volunteers with his church, helps with homeschooling his four children, and participates in their scouting programs.
