Meet Bego A., a program analyst for the Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration’s Office of International Nuclear Safeguards.
Bego grew up in Spain and came to the U.S. when she started university in 2013. She played on the Women’s Golf Team at Texas A&M University, where she completed her undergraduate studies in nuclear engineering. Continuing her research at Texas A&M, among the top 10 best nuclear engineering graduate programs, she went on to earn a PhD in nuclear engineering, which she finished in August of 2022. We’re proud to have nuclear scientist Dr. Bego on the MELE Team!
Bego says her favorite part about working for MELE is “the mission of my office…it’s amazing that MELE allows me to work on it and with such incredible people!! Everyone on my team is awesome, and so are the MELE people who make it possible and who help me with any questions I have.”
