Meet Rebecca F. Rebecca is a Senior Proposal Coordinator who has been with MELE for about seven years. She assists with the preparation of high-quality, compliant, and customer-focused proposals and presentations for customers across the DoD, the federal government, and civilian agencies. Prior to joining MELE, Rebecca worked with BAE Systems, Johnson Controls, and JUPITER Corporation providing business development and proposal activities.
“I love my MELE family and our collective efforts to bring new opportunities and work for MELE. It is a fast past environment and is always changing in exciting ways as we strive to bring in new work for MELE,” Rebecca shared.
“I absolutely love the area where I live and work. We are so lucky to live in the DC area where we have art, nature, and so much more to explore. From the C&O Canal and the museums in DC to the mountains in the west and the beaches in the east, it is truly a haven for the explorer in us all,” she added.
“Rebecca has been a true asset to the proposals team. The nature of what we do requires being able to pivot and adjust quickly while under tight deadlines and Rebecca has always risen to the occasion. She’s been a key part of many MELE contract wins, and I am proud to call her a colleague,” shared MELE’s Proposals Manager.
Rebecca grew up in Tampa, Florida where some of her family still resides. She goes back often to visit family and friends, but she loves living where she can experience all the seasons.
When Rebecca has time off, she and her husband enjoy being outside either hiking, enjoying a festival, or going to an outside concert. Rebecca and her husband are also avid Birders and photography enthusiasts.
