Meet Rob S., a Senior Business Systems Analyst and a key member of MELE’s corporate headquarters staff in Rockville, MD for nearly 15 years. He has a BS in Decision Sciences /Management Information Systems from George Mason University and over 30 years of experience in the field. Rob’s career started in the 1980’s helping a small Virginia manufacturing company migrate from a paper-based accounting system to a computer based one on their first computer networks. Today, Rob is invaluable at MELE by running critical reports, keeping constantly changing business systems updated with the latest technology, and supporting the company by bringing meaning to all the data information.
Outside of work, Rob runs about 15 miles a week and enjoys walking and riding his road bike with his husband Dan from the scenic hills of Frederick County to the open terrain of the Eastern Shore.
Rob says his favorite part about MELE is that it combines the ingenuity of a large company with the kind of teamwork you only see at a small company. He says: “I’m proud of the good example we set here in Rockville of helping each other out when we know someone is in need – even if it’s not in our own department.”
