Rockville, Maryland, April 19, 2024—MELE Associates, Inc. (MELE), a veteran-owned, minority-owned small business with more than three decades of success in the government contracting space, announced today that it was awarded a new contract.
MELE, which has its corporate headquarters in Rockville, Maryland and has offices in Washington, DC, and New Mexico, was awarded the contract by the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). The contract is for supporting the Office of Infrastructure (NA-90) and sits within the Enterprise Wide Technical, Engineering and Programmatic Support Services III (TEPS3) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA).
“We have a long and deep history supporting NNSA’s critical mission. This award is the latest opportunity for MELE to deliver best-in-class, value-engineered technical and programmatic support services to the NNSA,” stated MELE’s Chief Operating Officer Greg Hansen. “Special thanks to MELE Vice President Justin Hixson, Proposal Manager Dawn Vignola, and the entire MELE team for this winning bid.”
The Period of Performance (POP) for the contract is one year plus four, one-year options. MELE will provide program analyst, administrative, correspondence, and general project services in support of NA-90. MELE did not disclose the contract amount for the base and option periods.
